Overnight Dispatch Coordinator

Location: Salinas, CA

Employment Type: Full-Time (Temp-to-Hire)

Pay Rate: $23.00 – $25.00/hr DOE

We're seeking an Overnight Dispatch Coordinator to join a team-oriented environment of food industry professionals in Salinas, CA. This position supports laboratory operations through dispatching, customer service, sample coordination, data entry, and administrative support.

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Hours: 9:00 PM-6:00 AM

Responsibilities:

• Receive and manage dispatch calls
• Schedule, coordinate, and dispatch service providers
• Provide excellent customer service
• Answer and route incoming laboratory phone calls
• Receive, process, and review samples
• Perform accurate data entry and record maintenance
• Conduct facility sampling
• Retrieve product samples from various locations
• Assist other departments as needed
• Complete additional duties assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Ability to work independently on an overnight shift
• Valid driver's license with a clean DMV record required
• Must be at least 21 years of age (insurance requirement)
• Dispatching, administrative, or customer service experience preferred
