Job Opening: Custodian

Custodian – Santa Cruz, CA

Pay: $18.00/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

We are seeking a reliable Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment at a facility in Santa Cruz. This position will perform routine cleaning, facility upkeep, and minor maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Break down and dispose of empty boxes
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, urinals, and floors
• Clean and maintain break rooms and common areas
• Collect and dispose of trash and recycling
• Vacuum carpets, sweep, scrub, and mop floors
• Operate floor scrubber as needed
• Maintain grounds, driveways, and walkways
• Dust and clean furniture, blinds, and glass surfaces
• Monitor cleaning supply inventory and report replenishment needs
• Complete daily work documentation
• Perform additional duties assigned by management

Requirements:

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Minimum 6 months of janitorial or custodial experience
• Ability to work independently and follow directions
• Must be able to pass a background check
