Pay Rate: $26.00 per hour

Assignment Length: Seasonal (2-3 Months)

Position Summary

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Machine Operator to join a busy manufacturing team in Gilroy, CA for a seasonal 2-3 month assignment. In this role, you will operate the Powder Toaster production line, processing onion and garlic powder to meet customer specifications for quality, color, moisture levels, and more.

Essential Responsibilities

• Operate the Powder Toaster production line safely and efficiently.
• Process onion and garlic powder according to production specifications.
• Use a handheld scanner to track materials and production activities.
• Obtain and maintain lift truck (forklift) certification.
• Adjust machine feeds to optimize throughput, product color, and moisture levels.
• Complete HACCP and production documentation accurately.
• Communicate effectively using a two-way radio.
• Perform workplace safety inspections and audits.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must successfully pass a skills assessment.
• Ability to read, understand, and complete required paperwork.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately.
• Good attendance, safety, and work performance record.
• Previous forklift experience is preferred but not required.

Schedule Requirements

• Must be available to work all shifts as needed.
• Must be willing to work overtime when required.
