Mixer/Batcher – 5:30 AM–2:00 PM

We are seeking an experienced Mixer/Batcher to prepare, mix, and process raw materials into bulk cosmetic products while following ISO 22716 and GMP standards. This role is essential to ensuring product quality, consistency, and full traceability across production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify work orders, review pre-weighed materials, and assign batch numbers.
- Stage and record all ingredients; prepare, inspect, and sanitize tanks, mixers, hoses, and tools.
- Add ingredients in the correct sequence; operate heated tanks for water and oil phases.
- Melt solid materials safely and transfer phases using pumps and sanitized hoses.
- Operate high-shear mixers and conduct in-process quality checks (temperature, pH, viscosity).
- Follow contamination-prevention protocols and document cleaning/sanitization activities.
- Report production deviations and support QA teams during audits and investigations.
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot mixers, pumps, heaters, flow meters, and related equipment.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and maintain accurate logs and batch records.
- Coordinate with production teams and assist or guide untrained staff with basic tasks as needed.
Schedule
5:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Monday through Friday
(Some overtime may be required based on production needs.)

- High school diploma required; technical or trade training preferred.
- 1–2 years of batching, compounding, or mixing experience (cosmetic, chemical, food, or pharmaceutical preferred).
- Strong understanding of ISO 22716, GMP, and standard safety practices.
- Ability to operate batching and mixing equipment and maintain accurate documentation.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and use necessary PPE.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and process consistency.
