Shift: 9am to 6pm
Pay Range: $20-22/hr.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Procurement of goods and services, including raw materials, tools, supplies, repairs, equipment and other MRO items.
- Place orders promptly within established guidelines, policies and procedures to ensure timely receipt of materials and supplies
- Manage stock replenishment levels, non-stock review, return goods procedures and dead inventory analysis in order to maintain inventory within established guidelines.
- Initiates procurement of all products, services in a cost effective, timely manner consistent with company objectives while considering cost, quality and priority.
- Follow internal approval process and policies for all procurement purchase orders
- Follow purchasing/inventory management policies and procedures
- Works with suppliers to ensure optimal pricing and services/products.
- Collaborates with suppliers to ensure optimal inventory levels to support.
- Reviews requisitions, purchase orders, and vouchers for accuracy and conformance with established policies and procedures.
- Generate and implement ideas to reduce cost, avoid cost and improve supply chain optimization. Contribute to total manufacturing cost (TMC) on all new products.
- Analyze data and information to determine reasonable prices.
- Identify and determine the demand of supplies to ensure the upkeep of the plant in addition to the needs of production.
- Expedites purchase orders. Notifies departments of the expected delivery date and follows up on back orders.
- Month end Inventory cycle counts.
- Follow Company safety rules and regulations, GMP’s (good manufacturing practices).
- Follow Company policies and procedures ensure food safety and quality per FSSC 22000.
