GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Technician to join our dynamic team. This role will focus heavily on troubleshooting complex electromechanical systems, alongside the creation of work instructions and training materials. You will collaborate closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure optimal performance and reliability of our systems.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Diagnose and resolve issues with electromechanical systems using systematic troubleshooting techniques and commonly used electrical tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes. Must be able to read and interpret electrical diagrams.
• Install and configure advanced electromechanical systems according to specifications and schematics.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on complex machinery and equipment, documenting all findings and actions taken.
• Develop and maintain detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair processes.
• Train junior technicians and team members on troubleshooting techniques, best practices, and the operation of electromechanical systems.
• Conduct tests on systems to ensure functionality and compliance with industry standards, making necessary adjustments as required.
• Maintain accurate device history records in accordance with ISO 13485
• Work closely with engineers on the customer side to address issues, discuss design for manufacturability, and provide insights based on troubleshooting findings.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- 5+ years of experience in troubleshooting and maintaining electromechanical systems.
- Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, with experience in PLCs, robotics, and control systems.
- Experience in creating clear, concise work instructions and training materials.
- Familiarity with CAD software and diagnostic tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively train others and interact with team members and clients
