Description:

• To troubleshoot and repair of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical failures;
• performs preventive maintenance and inspection on molding machines and auxiliary equipment while maintaining a clean, safe working environment.
• Working with injection molding equipment pneumatic systems and hydraulic presses or assembly equipment, troubleshoots production machinery and equipment for electrical and mechanical malfunctions.
• Assists in the teardown and rebuild of an injection-molding machine.
• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance tasks and periodic inspections on production machinery and equipment. Lubricates and cleans parts.
• Adjusts devices positions and controls.
• Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
• Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
• Troubleshoots mechanical failures. Repairs or places defective parts.
• Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
• Installs parts into devices. Starts devices to determine their performance.
• Maintains spare parts inventory. Orders parts.
• Computer work as workload dictates.
• Keeps an accurate record of work performed.
• Performs other routine duties as necessary.
• Keeps work areas clear and free of debris.
• Adheres to safety rules and ergonomic practices.
• Most difficult or most complex task or project performed by the jobholder: To perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks and periodic inspections on molding machinery and equipment.

Work Schedule: 1st shift 6am-4:30pm Mon-Sat 

2nd shift 12pm-8:30pm Mon-Sat

Compensation: $15.50hr-$16.50hr 

Job Description: 

Responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing material and products according to customer guidelines and ISO 9001 where applicable

Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, and/or distributed

Pulls and prepares product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded

Loads, unloads, moves, stacks and stages products and materials using a fork lift, clamp truck or other power equipment
