Select Workforce Specialist has an exciting work opportunity for a Parts Sales Associate located in South San Francisco. This position will help you gain skills both in Customer Service and Warehouse Agent.
Pay Rate: $18/Hour
Morning Shift: Mon - Fri 8 AM - 5 PM.
Assists customers with research, pricing, and availability information on all HVAC/R parts and supplies pertaining to equipment lines (Carrier, and/or Bryant, Payne, and Air Flow Supply) and related replacement parts
Sells generic parts and supplies used on competitor and non-stocked brands
Enters sales orders, stocks showroom, pulls orders, and handles occasional warranty administration of parts
Processes vendor product returns
Assists in marketing products by providing sales flyers, catalogs, and technical assistance at the counter to include assisting with giveaways of promotional items
Manages inventory in showroom or parts counter
Sells full line of sheet metal and air flow supplies
Processes new & unused credits
Takes and processes equipment orders for walk-in or call-in customers
Fosters a safe working environment with goals of zero lost time and zero recordable incidents
Participates in safety training

Enthusiastic and sales driven
Good interpersonal skills to deal effectively with customers and employees
Familiar with purchase orders, sales and shipping
Minimum intermediate level Microsoft Word and Excel skills
Sage and EPIC experience a plus
Knowledge of heating, air conditioning, and sheet metal operation and terminology is a plus
Organizational skills and strong attention to details
Reliable with ability to respond effectively to daily issues
Able to work in a fast paced sales environment
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. to stock and pull parts. Position requires lifting, stooping, bending, twisting and some prolonged standing and walking. May require long periods of time using computers and phones during busy periods.
