Stockroom: Responsible for packing all warehouse components required for each components for each specific job in a way to prevent damage. Performance of this operations requires sill and knowledge on a variety of equipment such as forklift,scanners and small tools.
Follow all safety and operating instructions.
Follow all quality methods and standards.
Organize truck prints and packing lists according to weekly load schedule.
Construct boxes for packing as needed.
Pack jobs per shipping schedule in a manner to prevent damage.
Maintain proper paper work.
Maintain and report line picked per hours report.
Count all parts by scale or hand to fill job requirements.
Mark all parts with stock number, quantity and bar code.
Packages are marked with job number, sequence number and scan tag for identification.
Scan in pack sheets and all certificates and file information into appropriate file folder.
Band and wrap for weather tightness when necessary to assure quality.
Visually inspect to assure they are securely packaged and clearly marked.
Ability to read and understand work instructions, assignments, drawings and reference material.
Computer operation, downloading programs, generating programs from files and basic keyboarding skills.
Unloads material from trucks using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet lifter & hand truck
Schedule incoming trucks for deliveries.
Receives material into Compass for inventory purposes.
Visually inspects material for damage.
Dimensionally inspects material using standard measuring equipment.
Moves material to its designated storage area using various lifting equipment.
Performs daily and routine maintenance checks on equipment used.
Responsible for housekeeping in work area.
Track buy outs on Excel spread sheet and update as received.
Receive stock and restock inventory as needed.
Conduct cycle count inventories.
