Event Installer

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (some weekends required)
Location: Vacaville, CA
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour

Job Summary

The Event Installer supports both warehouse operations and on-site event installations. This position is responsible for preparing, transporting, installing, and maintaining event rental equipment for corporate events, festivals, public sector projects, and private functions. The role requires physical labor, teamwork, attention to safety, and flexibility in work environments.

Core Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

• Prepare equipment orders using pull sheets and load lists
• Safely load and unload trucks using proper lifting techniques
• Maintain organized warehouse sections and inventory locations
• Inspect rental equipment for cleanliness, damage, and readiness
• Assist with warehouse resets and inventory counts

Transportation

• Secure loads using straps, ratchets, and tie-downs
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle safety inspections

Event Installation

• Install tents, staging, flooring, tables, chairs, lighting, and pipe-and-drape systems
• Assist with structural tent assembly, including anchoring and ballast placement
• Follow installation diagrams and site plans
• Maintain safe work practices on event sites

Equipment Care & Maintenance

• Clean and maintain tents, tables, chairs, staging, and other rental equipment
• Identify damaged equipment and report issues to warehouse leadership
• Assist with repair preparation and routine maintenance tasks

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds repeatedly throughout a shift
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong attention to safety and organization
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
