Now Hiring a Seasonal Parts Coordinator in Oxnard, CA!
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Coordinator to support our client’s Maintenance Department. If you have inventory or office experience, strong computer skills, and enjoy keeping operations running smoothly, we want to hear from you!
Pay: $23/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Estimated 2/27/2025 (LOA Coverage)
Special Requests: Office or inventory experience preferred. Strong organization, accuracy, and attention to detail required.
Responsibilities:

Maintain stock of all critical spare parts and oversee maintenance parts ordering

Support the maintenance team in identifying required repair parts

Work with vendors to obtain quotes, approvals, signatures, and oversee emergency shipping/receiving

Partner with Purchasing to ensure timely and accurate order processing, with complete paperwork trails

Review vendor invoices and ensure proper authorization for payment

Utilize the CMMS for parts management and work order tracking

Maintain vendor relationships to support efficiency and cost management

Track maintenance spending and report against budget

Assist in implementing and supporting systems that improve inventory accuracy

Perform regular physical inventory counts to reconcile with system records

Recommend ordering levels for new and existing parts

Assist maintenance personnel with ongoing projects as needed

Coordinate with other departments and locations to ensure strong maintenance support

Maintain documentation, both hard copy and digital, including preventative maintenance tracking

Keep the maintenance shop clean, organized, and audit-ready

Travel locally to vendors to secure urgent parts as needed

Requirements:
- Experience in a facility or business securing, ordering, and maintaining a large quantity of parts.
- Solid planning, organizing, and time management skills.
- Experience with inventory management programs.
- Ability to work in teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Track record of safety as a priority.
- Experience working with users and suppliers of conveyors, pumps, motors, bearings, chains/sprockets, etc.
- Familiarity with a wide range of parts and equipment.
- Willing to travel.
- Microsoft Office and PC’s skills.
- Flexibility and ability to perform a wide range of tasks.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Experience identifying or being part of teams focusing on continuous improvement and cost reduction.
- Ability to communicate in English and Spanish.
- CMMS Experience.
