Join Our Team as a Parts Advisor!

Location: Hayward, CA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: Competitive, based on experience

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and organized Parts Advisor to support our busy Parts Department. This role is essential in keeping operations running smoothly by ensuring inventory accuracy and providing timely support to technicians and customers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities within the Parts Department.
• Locate and issue required parts for technicians and retail customers.
• Monitor and maintain proper inventory levels; adjust stock thresholds as needed.
• Communicate with vendors to ensure timely and accurate parts orders.
• Keep the parts room and warehouse organized and fully stocked.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and track parts cores weekly.
• Retain, package, and ship warranty parts; generate warranty-related reports.
• Process invoices and update daily over-the-counter (OTC) sales sheets.
• Review and follow up on open purchase orders and credit card reports.
• Deliver parts to workstations as directed by the Shop Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Familiarity with inventory systems and parts management is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
