Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Administration:
- Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll for all employees in accordance with federal, state, and company policies Maintain and update payroll records, deductions, and direct deposit information
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of payroll taxes and other statutory deductions
- Resolve payroll-related issues or discrepancies in a timely manner
- Generate payroll reports and provide data for audits as needed
Human Resources Support:
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Maintain up-to-date employee records
- Support benefits administration including enrollments, changes, and terminations
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR procedures
- Assist with timekeeping systems and review timesheets for accuracy
Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure payroll and HR documentation complies with federal, state, and local regulations
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or accounting preferred

2+ years of experience in payroll and/or human resources

Knowledge of payroll systems

Understanding of labor laws and payroll regulations

Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
