Job Opening: Warehouse Associate
Description
In this role of Warehouse Associate, you will manage the assembly, kitting, and fulfillment processes of our hardware from our San Jose (CA) warehouse. In addition, you will collaborate with Hope Services, a non-profit organization that supports people with developmental disabilities, and work alongside their clients to complete your tasks. Your role and responsibilities ? Inventory: Maintain, organize, and apply lean inventory practices at the warehouse to optimize space and increase productivity. ? Shipping: Execute day-to-day logistics operations to ensure daily order fulfillment meets department SLAs. ? Manufacturing: Oversee our team of clients assembling hardware bundles. Prepare hardware parts, delegate roles within the team, and monitor for process accuracy. ? Assemble Hardware: Follow the established Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to complete the assembly of the hardware. ? Quality: Hold yourself accountable for quality outcomes. ? Communication: Communicate daily KPIs to team members (e.g., manufacturing, shipping, and returns etc.).
? You have 1+ years of relevant warehouse operations experience. ? You’re extremely dependable with good communication skills. ? You’re extremely organized, detail-oriented, and accurate in your work execution. ? You have a high quality standard and strive to uphold it. ? You are able to lift 40 lbs. ? You have excellent speaking and reading skills in English. ? Basic computer skills (G-Suite Apps). Compensation and Schedule: ? This is a temporary role with no clear end date starting asap.
