Warehouse Supervisor in Modesto, CA
- Pay: $30 per hour
- Temp to Hire
- Able to work nights and graveyard 8-12 hours per day
- Able to Train, Onboard, Counsel Union Employees
- Able to work in a Freezer environment up to -20 degrees
Job Summary:
A Warehouse Supervisor oversees and coordinates daily warehouse operations, managing staff, inventory, and ensuring efficient and accurate receiving, storing, and shipping of goods. Responsible for maintaining a safe and organized work environment, adhering to company policies and regulations, and improving warehouse processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting
- Microsoft Suite
- Must have Inventory WMS system, SAP, Red Prairie or some inventory and employee tracking tool
- Ability to operate a Electric Pallet Jack
- Scheduling and Timecard adjustments if necessary.
- Supervision and Staff Management: Supervising and directing warehouse staff, including training, evaluating performance, and addressing any issues.
- Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting inventory counts, and ensuring proper storage and organization of goods.
- Safety and Compliance: Enforcing safety protocols, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing improvements to warehouse processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other relevant data, and preparing reports as needed.
- Problem-Solving: Addressing and resolving issues related to inventory, equipment, or staff performance.
- Collaboration: Working with other departments to ensure smooth operations and achieve company goals.
- Leadership and Motivation: Inspiring and motivating the warehouse team to achieve high performance and maintain a positive work environment.
- Training: Ensuring staff members are properly trained on warehouse procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Receiving and Shipping: Overseeing the receiving, storing, and shipping of goods, including coordinating with other departments and ensuring timely delivery.

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
