This position will start as a drill tapper and eventually move into welding
- Schedule: Monday – Friday – 6am-2:30pm
- Pay Rate: $19.00/ hour
- Location – Anaheim, CA

Drilling and Tapping:
- Hole Creation: Using drills and other tools to create holes in metal.
- Tap Creation: Creating threaded holes (taps) in metal for screws and other fasteners.
- Tool Selection and Operation: Choosing the appropriate tools and operating them safely and effectively.
- Accuracy and Precision: Maintaining tight tolerances when drilling and tapping.
Summary MIG Spot Welder:
A MIG spot welder includes setting up equipment, applying electrodes to the metal, and ensuring the machine is properly calibrated for the job. Spot welding uses electrical resistance to create a weld, and the job also includes maintaining the tools and ensuring a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating Spot Welding Machines: Using a punch press or other spot welding equipment to join metal sheets.
- Setting Up and Calibrating Equipment: Ensuring the spot welding machine is properly calibrated for the specific materials and desired weld strength.
- Applying Electrodes: Precisely placing electrodes on the metal sheets to create the spot welds.
- Maintaining Tools and Equipment: Keeping the spot welding machine and other related tools in good working order.
- Quality Control: Inspecting welds for proper penetration and adherence to quality standards.
- Following Safety Procedures: Adhering to all safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving any issues with the spot welding equipment or the welding process.
- Preparing Work Area: Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
