Job Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Read blueprints, electrical/electronic wiring schematics and diagrams to determine the method and sequence to manufacture electrical and communication equipment.
- Organize and verify correct parts are being used for the build.
- Assemble and label required components as required by the design drawings.
- Install, inspect, and calibrate low voltage electrical power circuits, control and automation systems, electronic equipment, telemetering devices, programmable logic controllers, relay logic, modems, and transducers.
- Test, adjust, maintain, troubleshoot, and/or repair communication equipment down to the component level (e.g., trunked radio, conventional radio, transmitters, receivers, SCADA, System Control Center Instrumentation, microwave and associated network, substation alarm monitoring, telephone and full data circuits, power line carrier, transfer trip, peaking units, digital fault recorders, multiple address system, fiber optics, channel banks/multiplexers, Ethernet networking, SONET transport).
- Perform complex testing, analysis and troubleshooting of equipment using analog and digital test equipment.
- Terminate cables, dress/ label cables, control rooms, and rack and stack ladder racks/ cabinets.
- Mount panels, field devices, and power supplies.
- Install cable pathway systems such as cable trays and cable racks.
- Attend technical training on a regular basis to continually broaden abilities and stay current on latest industry technology. • Provide technical guidance and direct the work of others as needed.
- Seek to improve existing standards and procedures to support continuous improvement in support of the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Facilitate Engineer Change Requests engaging alignment with key stakeholders.
- Maintain a culture of safety and 7S compliance.
- Other duties as assigned.
- This position may require 10 hour days.
- OT as needed and OT is mandatory
- There may be Saturday shifts, as well.
- Please ensure you’re informing your associates of OT.
