Description
Local Fresno Recycling Center Looking To Hire Welders.
The Welder will fabricate, repair, and modify parts and equipment as needed, using a torch, and will perform tasks including grinding, sanding, cutting, and cleaning various components. They will ensure weld integrity and quality throughout the process.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all company equipment, including road calls.
- Document parts, time, and descriptions of repairs at the end of each shift.
- Use welding expertise to perform repairs and fabrications effectively and efficiently.
- Gather necessary materials (e.g., steel, aluminum, metal), ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Set up welding machines and cutting devices for metalworking to fabricate or modify parts.
- Review, read, and interpret blueprints or sketches for accurate construction.
- Complete all steps in the welding process according to specifications.
- Communicate welding or equipment issues to supervisors as they arise.
- Safely use MIG and TIG welding techniques on aluminum, steel, and stainless steel components.
- Contribute to team goals and company objectives.
- Assist with equipment cleaning when needed.
Schedule: Monday – Friday (1:00 PM start, occasional Saturdays)
Pay: $18 or depending on experience

Knowledge of:
- MIG and TIG welding techniques.
- Basic repairs and diagnostics.
- Using power tools and equipment such as welding torches.
- Reading blueprints, safety warnings, and guidelines.

- Effectively managing time in a fast-paced work environment.
