As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will ensure the smooth operations and efficient functioning of the warehouse. You will be responsible for leading warehouse staff, overseeing their day-to-day activities, and ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Warehouse Team Leader Responsibilities
• Coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
• Plan and prioritize work assignments for the team to ensure optimal workflow and productivity.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain quality control and accuracy of inventory.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement, logistics, to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfilment.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficient warehouse practices to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the team and address performance concerns through coaching and mentoring.
