Local Winery in Parlier CA Now Hiring General Winery Workers to Prepare for The Harvest Season!
The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned.
General Labor Job Duties: The General Winery Worker will assist in all phases of winemaking process, as well as care, maintenance, and sanitation of all equipment and facilities.
- Able to gauge tanks accurately
- Regularly required to roll, move, and/or lift 50-gallon wine barrels when needed
- Fortify new wines
- Draw off fresh crush
- Water back fresh crush pomace, Yeast tanks & Sluice pomace from tanks
- Pump material to distilling material tanks as per work orders
- Circulate tanks of pomace
- Clean up and sanitize equipment
- Load trucks as per requirements
- Mix and sample tanks
Shifts Available: Rotating Shifts every 4 months! With Shift Differential
- First Shift: 5am – 1:30pm
- Second Shift: 12pm – 8:30pm
- Third Shift: 8pm – 4:30am

General Labor Job Requirements:
- Must be quality focused, punctual, and reliable
- Ability to self-start and prioritize
- Must be team oriented and willing to assist others
- Must be able to work 6 days a week and weekends
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Position includes extensive walking, standing, and climbing
- Must be able to walk up and down stairs, ladders, and mobile platforms
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, walk, bend, twist, and be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to pass a background and drug screen
- Ability to work outdoors in direct sunlight
