Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable/receivable, and reconciling bank statements. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a proactive approach to financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
– Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
– Reconcile bank and credit card statements regularly.
– Prepare and submit financial reports in a timely manner.
– Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
– Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
– Assist with audits and other financial reviews as needed.
– Ensure compliance with all financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a Bookkeeper (minimum of 5 years).
– Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
– Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
– Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
– Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
– Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
– Must be able to pass a background check and a drug screen.
Education:
– Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not required).
