Select is NOW HIRING for an Inventory Control Coordinator for a distribution company in Gilroy CA.
Payrate: $21 an hour
Schedule: Temp to hire, Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm with flexibility to work Saturdays.
Inventory Control Coordinator Responsibilities:
• Under direct supervision, compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, property, equipment, merchandise, or supplies.
• Counts material, property, equipment, merchandise, or supplies and posts totals to inventory/property records.
• Verifies and records computations against physical count of inventory and adjusts errors in computation or count or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.
• Responsible for checking in Delivery Drivers, inspecting all returning trailers, verifying returned goods and damaged products and re-entering goods into inventory.
• Handles all matters relating to inventory control, checking quality of designated product, taking daily inventory on produce and product spoiled.
• Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
• Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Inventory Control Coordinator Requirements:
• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
• 6 - 12 Months required experience.
• Accounting, inventory accounting admin support or related area.
• Preferred experience with stand-up forklift and powered pallet jack.
