Job Opening: Maintenance Mechanic

Local Packaging Company is seeking a skilled and experience Maintenance Mechanic to join our team.

As a Maintenance Mechanic you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production machinery and equipment.

Roll Away Tool Box.  Standard mechanical tools up to 1-1/4”

Electrical hand tools and multi-meter CAT III

Drill motor, calipers, metal shears, drill bit set.

Minimum 2 years’ maintenance experience working in industrial electrical/mechanical field.

Knowledge of AC motors/controls, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Working knowledge of DC motors and controls.

Valid driver’s license and Pactiv Forklift certification required; training provided.

Good performance, safety and attendance records.

Possible daily lifting of up to 40 lbs.

Willingness to work overtime, weekends and holidays as required.

Willingness to work any shift.

Must be knowledgeable in electrical system, prints/schematics.

Must possess good written and verbal communication skills, decision making ability and mathematical knowledge.

Performs quality work within reasonable time standards set forth by Leadership in verbal or written instructions.
