The General Winery Worker will assist in all phases of winemaking process, as well as care, maintenance, and sanitation of all equipment and facilities. Able to gauge tanks accurately Regularly required to roll, move, and/or lift 60-gallon wine barrels when needed Fortify new wines Draw off fresh crush (fc) Draw off wash #1 (w#1) Water back fresh crush pomace Yeast tanks Sluice pomace from tanks Pump material to distilling material tanks as per work orders Circulate tanks of pomace Clean up and sanitize equipment Load trucks as per requirements Mix and sample tanks
