Company in Camarillo looking to hire an experienced Drafter!

Responsibilities:

Responsible for maintaining both digital and physical document record library of file drawings
Makes any adjustments or changes necessary per design review or ECN process.
Use Solidworks and CAD software to produce detailed drawings that include building dimensions, required materials and construction procedures.
Use software to use multiple angles and views to depict the association of components and systems.
Consult with team on design and layouts.
Coordinate with builders to establish requirements and understand design concepts.
When deficiencies occur, revise designs to eliminate problems.
Makes final sketch of proposed drawing, checking dimension of parts, materials to be used, relation of one part to another, and relation of various parts to whole structure or project.
Creates product or component illustrations and drawings for operation, service, assembly manuals and component detail drawings in accordance with operating/set-up instructions or disassembly breakdowns.
Utilizes knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, component parts and other physical sciences to complete drawings.
Draws finished designs, including assembly drawings, packaging drawings, and bill of materials for approval.

Qualifications:

One year certificate from college or technical school; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Must be proficient with Solidworks software for drafting and illustration including two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) perspective of documentation to satisfy requirements for Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing and Customer Service departments.
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written form with customers, management, and co-workers is crucial.
