We have a direct hire opening for RN Home Care Supervisor in San Francisco at a non-profit healthcare organization that offers medical, social, and daily living support services to elderly clients within the community. This is a 1st shift opening!
In this role, you will manage daily home care operations, guide and train staff, collaborate on achieving organizational goals, and enhance the quality of care in a community-focused setting.

Pay & Schedule:
- Pay: $69.63-$92.84/hour plus a $10,000 Sign-on Bonus
- 1st shift: 8 am-4:30 pm, Monday-Friday
Job Duties of the RN Home Care Supervisor:
- Responsible for the management of daily home care operations, ensuring quality of care, service provision, and delivery
- Provides support, supervision, and training to geriatric aides and home care nursing staff to carry out the home care treatment plan
- Works in partnership with the Nurse Manager to advance the organization’s goals, establish and monitor financial targets, and collaborate on quality programming, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
- Provides skilled observation and nursing assessment
- Develops and implements appropriate home care treatment plans tailored to participants’ needs
- Offers clinical expertise during interdisciplinary team planning and problem-solving sessions
- Teaches and counsels participants and their family members about care, safety, and other relevant topics
- Communicates effectively with participants, families, and Interdisciplinary Team Members
- Collaborates with other supervisors/managers and department staff through effective communication and leadership
- Demonstrates leadership and facilitates change opportunities by collaborating with other supervisors/managers
- Ensures delivery of quality services by overseeing the department’s compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to policies and procedures
- Takes the lead on continuous process improvement and risk management efforts in the department
- Facilitates and supports department-specific performance goals and quality improvement plans

Job Requirements of the RN Home Care Supervisor:
- Have an Associate's degree or a Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
- Have 2+ years of experience as an RN, working with the geriatric population or in home care and/or home health care settings (preferred)
- Possess leadership or supervisory experience
- Hold a current California Registered Nurse license
- A California Public Health Nurse Certification is desirable
- A current CPR certification is required
- Hold a valid California driver's license and be willing to drive and travel
- Experience with electronic health record documentation is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required
- Lift/move up by 75 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently
- Be able to stoop, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, talk, hear, and repetitive motions of the wrist, hand, and fingers
