Looking for Production Line Mechanic in Glendale $17-$25 DOE

1st Shift, variable shift

 

Responsible for performing setup and line changeover of cosmetics manufacturing equipment.

 

Essential Functions

• Set-up, adjust, and line changeover of manufacturing equipment to include tube and bottle fillers, cappers, labeling equipment, Videojet coders, cartoners, and bundle wrappers

• Diagnose malfunctions, repair and replace defective parts with the assistance of equipment manuals.

• Analyze mechanical and operational problems and take corrective action.

• Perform preventive & reactive maintenance and respond to equipment failures.

• Monitor lines for malfunctions, recurring problems, or unsafe conditions.

• Make adjustments to maintain quality production.

• Ensure production goals, up-time standards, and deadlines are met.

• Maintain a clean, organized, sanitary and safe work area.

• Report any unsafe practice or condition.

• Any other tasks that may be assigned by the Supervisor to meet company goals.

• Experience with production filling equipment and machinery like liquid fillers, paste fillers, conveyors, cartoners, ink jet coders, labelers, etc.

• Good technical and electrical understanding.

• Able to deal with uncertainty in a fast-paced environment.

• Able to lift up to 35 lbs unassisted / 50 lbs assisted.

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Two years experience as a Production Line Mechanic in Manufacturing environment
