Position Description:
Primary responsibilities include knowledge of the distribution and logistics industry in a pick and pack environment. This position manages the daily operations that include daily truck deliveries in the surrounding communities, pick & pack, and will call orders
Position Requirements:
A great candidate will have good character, be reliable, have knowledge of the logistics industry and experience in a pick and pack environment. Must be flexible, a problem solver and have good organizational skills. Candidate must have the ability to mentor, coach and counsel employees as needed. Strong organization and communication is a must.
• Experience as a positive role model and leader.
• Great attention to detail and accuracy.
• PC skills are required including the following software applications: Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of Eclipse is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of effective Warehouse management and leadership experience required.
• Must be capable and eligible to drive 20′ open bed truck.
• Forklift experience a must.
• Electrical experience is preferred.
