The Warehouse Specialist performs all functions necessary to support the operation including picking and packing of customer orders for shipping. The specialist will also assist in receiving, restocking and year-end inventory count. The Warehouse Specialist reports to the Warehouse Supervisors. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Accurately picks items from designated locations using picking tickets and other reports • Checks SKU and quantities picked for customer orders to ensure accuracy • Using RF scanners and PC packs customer orders • Ships order using Agile shipping software • Ensures customer satisfaction by providing work quality • Maintains proper stock levels. Rotates and replenishes stock to primary location from secondary or overstock locations following FIFO (First in First Out) guidelines • Assists others in various areas of the warehouse • Helps maintain and contribute to a positive team environment • Achieve and maintain professional rapport with internal and external customers to provide outstanding service • Question processes and suggest improvements, as needed • Apply initiative to help meet company goals, as well as help to move the company forward • Responsible for housekeeping and organizing area to ensure smooth and safe operation • Adheres to all safety procedures in the performance of job duties Qualifications (List all necessary education, skill(s), and competencies required for the job) • High school diploma or equivalent • Knowledge of light industrial operations, such as six (6) months experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment • Basic math aptitude, ability to speak and hear detailed information and instructions in English • Basic computer knowledge and skills • Must pass a color blind test • Must be very detailed oriented • Excellent interpersonal skills required • Must be flexible in accepting assignments and direction, each of which can change to meet the needs of the business at any given time • Must be able to work day or evening shifts-flexibility is appreciated • Proven ability to perform at a high level with minimal supervisionApply Now More Info
